SPECIFICATIONS
DESIGN
Complies with NFPA 407 requirements. High lift service platform and equipment
mounting platform.
CHASSIS
Diesel engine, automatic transmission (optional gasoline engine or manual
transmission available). Engine exhaust routed to forward right side of chassis
cab.
REFUELING SYSTEM (750)
Fuel system piping:
S/S hydrostatically tested.
Fueling system hoses are assembled operation of the brake interlock system with male non-reusable fitting and in compliance with the latest edition of API 1529 specs.
Hydrant coupler compatible with 4” pit valves coupler as 90 degrees body design, swivel adapter and pressure control.
Hydrant hose:
2 ½” x 50’ standard fuel resistant 3/8” x 50’ twin line hose is provided to
carry sensing pressure to the hydrant coupler.
Manually operated Lunkinheimer valve vented to slop tank to release excess pressure in hydrant hose for ease of coupler release.
Deadman/pressure control valve:
4” with rate of flow pilot.
Thermal relief valve: provided to release excess static pressure to the slop tank due to thermal expansion. 20 gallon aluminum slop tank with 10” fill lid provided.
Meter:
800 GPM with swivel head, large numeral counter.
Filter separator:
750 GPM meets API Group II Class C specifications. Filter constructed with 4”
flanged inlet/outlet. Water defense system and both air elimination and
differential pressure connections. Water defense system to close deadman valve
if water is detected in filter sump.
Underwing nozzles:
3” NPT connections with quick disconnect 100 mesh strainer and swivel sockets.
High lift service platform mounted at rear Mast 3000# capacity w/ platform heights to 156”. Hydraulic pressure supplied by 12V power pack .
Deck fueling hoses:
(2) 2 1/2” x 10’ hoses w/ 3” swivels and shutoff valves at the point of
attachment. Vapor proof conduit and junction boxes. Deck hose single point
nozzles stowed in BAE holders connected to the brake interlock system.
A fueling hose reel is provided with 2 1/2” x 50’ capacity explosion-proof electric rewind, non-ferrous internals 3” swivel and shut off valve manual rewind for emergency use.
A 2 ½” x 50’ fueling hose with single point nozzle is standard.
Pressure gauges on both the equipment control panels are glycerin filled.
(2) Air operated deadman control handles are provided. One w/ ¼” x 6’ hose mounted on the service platform and one with a ¼” x 50’ hose held on a reel mounted to the equipment.
Static reel provided with 50’ of coated cable and 100 amp clamps.
12V air compressor with 12V air dryer filter, lubricator, pressure gauge and dual reservoir tanks provide air for operation of the brake interlock system.
Brake interlock system provided to set chassis brake when any nozzle or the pit coupler is removed from stowage or the service platform is not in the fully lowered position.
Complete running, stop, turn indicator and work lamps are provided with circuits behind the chassis cab run in vapor proof conduit & junction boxes.
Two 20# BC rated rife extinguisher with mount.
Individual sub assemblies are prepared and coated with epoxy prime. The assembled unit is then cleaned and primed with epoxy primer and finish painted with two coats of urethane.
Each unit completely flow & operationally tested.
