REFUELING SYSTEM
Fuel system piping: Aluminum hydrostatically tested.
Fueling hoses:
Male, non-reusable fittings, and in compliance w/ the latest edition of the API
1529 specs.
Hydrant coupler:
Compatible with 4” pit valves. Coupler has 90° body design, swivel adapter and
pressure control.
Hydrant hose:
2 ½” x 50’ standard fuel resistant 3/8” x 50” twin line hose is provided to
carry sensing pressure to the hydrant coupler.
Thermal relief valve:
Provided to release excess static pressure to the slop tank due to thermal
expansion. Seven gallon aluminum slop tank with 10” fill lid provided.
Meter:
800 gpm with swivel head & large numeral counter.
Monitor:
750 gpm, meets IP Group Ii Class C specs. Constructed w/ 4” flanged inlet/oulet.
Both air elimination & differential pressure connections.
Underwing nozzles:
3” NPT connections w/quick disconnect 100 mesh strainer and swivel sockets.
High lift service platform:
Mounted at rear mast. 3500# capacity w/platform heights to 156”. Hydraulic
pressure supplied by 12VDC power pack.
Deck fueling hoses:
Two 2 ½” x 10’ hoses w/ 3” swivels and shutoff valves at the point of
attachment. Deck hose single point nozzles stowed in BAE holders connected to
the brake interlock system.
Single wrap fueling hose reel:
Provided with 2 ½” x 50’ capacity w/hydraulic rewind, non-ferrous internals,
3” swivel & shutoff valve. Manual rewind for emergency use.
2 ½” x 50’ fueling hose:
Standard w/ single point nozzle.
Deadman control:
Two electrically operated deadman control handles are provided.
One w/ 10’ x 16/2 conductor mounted on the service platform.
One w/50’ x 16/2 conductor mounted on the equipment.
Static reel:
Provided w/50’ of coated cable and 100 amp clamps.
Air compressor:
12V with 12V air dryer filter, lubricator, pressure gauge and dual reservoir
tanks provide air for operation of the brake interlock system.
Brake interlock system:
Provided to set chassis brake when any nozzle or the pit coupler is removed
from stowage or the service platform is not in the fully lowered position.
Complete running, stop, turn indicator and work lamps are provided with circuits behind the chassis cab run in vapor -proof conduit & junction boxes.
Two 20# BC rated rife extinguishers with mounts.
Individual sub assemblies are prepared and coated with epoxy primer. The assembled unit is then cleaned and primed with PPG epoxy primer and finish painted with two coats of urethane.
Each unit completely flow & operationally tested.
